Andrew Grieshop


Dr. Andy Grieshop joined North Carolina State University in January, 2012. Dr. Grieshop was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia from 2008-2011. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and his MS in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, where he was a member of the multi-disciplinary Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies (CAPS). Prior to his re-entry to academia he led various other lives, working as a design engineer for a distributed energy technology start-up, teaching high school math and physics in New York City and building ecological toilets in a remote village in Mexico.
