Laura Morrison is an economist in RTI’s Center for Environmental, Technology, and Energy Economics. Ms. Morrison has in economic, policy, and global environmental health research. She has experience designing and conducting primary data collection, including field surveys and qualitative interviews, in the United States and internationally. Ms. Morrison has conducted qualitative and quantitative research in India focusing on environmental health technology with the Duke University Household Energy and Health Initiative. In this role, she managed the launch and aided in the design and analysis of a household survey to assess demand for biomass cookstove and water treatment and sanitation technologies in rural India. She also conducted economic analyses for a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded randomized control trial in rural India studying the effect of subsidies on cookstove technology adoption. She holds a Masters degree in Public Policy (Duke University).
